Prevelle Silk is a great new hyaluronic gel dermal filler that has several characteristics that make it an ideal solution for many patients. There is no a problem with initial swelling when you use Prevelle Silk, so the need to wait several days before making a big appearance is eliminated. Other filler use high concentrations of HA, or hyaluronic acid, a complex sugar found naturally in the body that attracts and binds to water molecules. Because of this binding quality, there is often a degree of swelling with other HA products as the high concentrations of HA bind with large numbers of water molecules.
